At times, I was overwhelmed yet, once I realized that there were common threads for success, I developed a personalized plan that endowed me with the confidence and clarity I needed to rid my body of cancer, and create an environment where it would no longer be welcome. I strengthened that foundation by applying additional principles and practices of those who had healed naturally from cancer. Starting with what I knew - my faith and natural remedies, I launched the initial phase of “I will win”. For my own sake, sanity, and health, I stood up and decided.I can and will beat this. Fear can be stifling, stress-promoting, and in essence, is the opposite of faith. Then, one day in early December, as I cried tears of pity and fear on my bathroom floor, I was reminded of the power fear can have. Fears of dying, leaving family/friends, not achieving goals, etc. After a few bouts with denial, I found myself making a home with fear. In November of 2017, at a time when I thought I was “living my best life”, I was diagnosed with colon cancer.
